Cinema Beans: The Day He Arrives
There are about five important characters in The Day He Arrives. There is of course Sungjoon, the filmmaker who comes home and contemplates giving up in the film business. He's got the best friend Youngho who hasn't abandoned his hometown (aka his profession) And that guy likes Boram, who actually takes a liking to Sungjoon. But wait Sungjoon is starting to fall for Kyungjin, who just happens to be a striking doppelgänger of his former lover Yejeon. As the alcohol flows and repetition settles in, there's an unmistakable chemistry between these five people, all of whom blend together and affect one another so deeply that you could make a really fucked up venn diagram from it.
